for boys and girls who love to play cricket.
The junior cricket pathway at Banyule CC commences with our long running Milo in2Cricket and T20 Blast Programs.

Banyule CC Junior Club Cricket
Our junior club cricket program commences in the DVCA 'Non-Competitive' grades which is a competition designed for children under 10 years of age (children must have turned 7 and not yet 11 by Thursday, August 31st).
Games are played under Cricket Australia's newly introduced rules for junior cricket (shortened pitches, smaller sides, etc) and are scheduled on Wednesday afternoons starting at 5pm and running until approx. 7.10pm.
We will be able to confirm training times as we appoint coaches and confirm the availability of training facilities.

This policy has been developed in line with Cricket Australia's safe play policy and with a child's safety and cricket development in mind.

Our Under 12 teams compete in the DVCA U12 Competitive Grades which are also played under Cricket Australis’s newly introduced junior cricket rules. U12 teams are available for boys who have turned 10 but not yet 13 years prior to August 31st.
Training times will be confirmed by each team’s coach by mid-September. Games are played on Friday afternoons from 5pm.
Under 16 players have turned 14 but not yet 16 years prior to August 31st. Training times are Thursdays, 4.30-5.30pm. Games are played on Friday afternoons from 5pm.
Under 18 players have turned 16 but not yet 18 years prior to August 31st. Our under 18’s train on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as being encouraged to attend senior training.
Games are played on Friday afternoons from 5pm.

All registrations for junior cricket at Banyule is available via Cricket Australia's online registration system;

As all registrations are now completed online there will not be a registration day as we have held in the past.
